Some days it feels as though I am floating above, feet straining to touch the ground. Life is a little more hectic than I like to admit...floating above seems easier at times. However, in the very near future the daily grind will be slowing down, the roaring tide will ease and this mama might just catch her breath. In a few short days I will be throwing in my "out of home working mama cap" - quite happily I might add. "Out of home" - because all mamas are working mamas. It's a tough gig I tell you - all of them. I have been a mama in school, worked part time, full time and been a full time stay at home mama - it is all challenging in one way or another. But for now, I am really ready for the change to a slower pace for our family. One that is a little more present, a little lot more frugal, and most of all one where my feet are firmly planted on the ground - preferably bare and toe nails full of dirt.
